The ghat is fully crowded at the time of Aarati so its advisable to book your tour in advance and arrive on time. The evening Ganga aarati is performed by 7 Brahmins at Dashashwamedh and 5 Brahmins at Prayag Ghat next to it everyday with sometimes live music performance along with the chants of Mantras dedicated to mother Ganga.

(name of a king who brought the Ganges down from heaven to earth by his austerities.)Glory, all glory to you.
