Dashashwamedh Ghat Varanasi :

Dashashwamedh Ghat of Varanasi is one of the major ghats of Banaras. Its one of the 84 ghats in Kashi where people come from all over the world to take a dip in the holy river Ganga. This ghat is crowded by pilgrims everyday. The famous Ganga arati is held here every morning and evening.

The morning Ganga Arati is held around 6 AM in winter and 5 AM in summer. It depends on sunrise timing in Kashi. Then, there is also an evening Ganga Arati held here at sunset time. It starts at 6 PM in winter and 7 PM in summer, depending upon the sunset.

Its believed that Lord Brahma welcomed lord Shiva here on this ghat when he came to Kashi for the first time.
